Rusizi:Training acquired ;to promote mindset on families conflict Resolution

The USADEC project in collaboration with Never Again Rwanda has prepared training for different groups of people in the Bugarama sector in the three regions that make up this sector in order to increase their knowledge and role in preventing and resolving domestic conflicts.

This project prepares this training after highlighting the results of the collection (research) conducted in this sector of Bugarama in the above-mentioned area where the research showed that at least three families in each village live together, which made this project establish this training and the level of training for different categories of
The people include family friends, disability representatives, religious representatives, youth representatives and other groups in order to help them in their place of residence in order to resolve the conflict.

Bwenge Youssuf is the representative of religious people who are being trained by the USADEC project in collaboration with Never Again Rwanda.

He said, “The training we attended today will increase my knowledge as a Muslim in resolving conflicts, so it will help us to resolve and prevent conflicts in our families and elsewhere.

He added that the institutions of this project will talk to the local authorities and find out how the recipients of this training will be allocated time and reach the people what they will learn.

Bwenge Youssuf said: “I request that during the time when the communities and the people unite, we will be given time to explain to the people about conflict prevention and thus we will be able to share with them the knowledge that we have gained from the training that we are going to receive.”

 

Juvin Nsengumuremyi Participator who represented People with Desabilities

Juvin Nsengumuremyi, who came to represent people with disabilities, says that in the families of people with disabilities, there are conflicts that are not out of the ordinary, but he says that even if they are expected to benefit from this training, the knowledge will help them deal with conflicts among people with disabilities.

He said, “With people with disabilities in their families who find conflict in this training, I expect to benefit from the knowledge that I have in resolving these conflicts.”

Mitari Joseph, who came to represent the youth, said that in this training, the youth will do a lot to support others in the fight to end the conflict, since children are also considered as members of the family.

He said, “As a representative of the youth, I am going to benefit a lot from this training by fighting the cause of domestic conflict; as a child, I will encourage other children to fight against violence in families and against children in general.”

Alexis Mahoro is the coordinator of Usadec at the national level and he is the founder of this project (Founder) talking to kivupost he said that this project was founded for the purpose of serving the people in different parts of the country and they started in Rutsiro District and have different projects in the region
of Rusizi in the Bugarama sector, advocacy is being done to eliminate the conflict that is evident in the families of that sector based on the data collection they have done.

Bugarama, is one of the 18 sectors that make up the Rusizi District and also works for the country of Burundi and the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the country of Burundi.
