North Province: North Governor with Women’s Support to eradicate Children’s malnutrition
The governor of the Northern Province, Mugabowagahunde Maurice appealed to the women of this province to help in eradicating the problem of infertility in children which continues to put a bad face on the province, after 23% of children still have problems with infertility while still having goals that in the next 5 years they will be less than 15%.
The statistics of the Governor of the Northern Province on the problem of children who have been arrested in the Regions that make up this Province clearly show his concern.
The children would be because there was no time to prepare a meal for them, no one would know that they had washed, and they were dressed in the right clothes, the sick person would be treated already.
In a conference that brought together the members of the National Women’s Council of CNF in the five regions of the north, the problem of alcoholism, which is bothering the heart of the family, was revealed as the front to increase the violence.
Some of the heart of the house show that the problem is not for everyone, but that the time of those who live is limited because of the search.
Governor Mugabowagahunde Maurice asked the CNF to stand up to these issues so that they can see how they can fight child abuse.
Both the CNF and the private sector have committed to raising awareness within the next 3 months.
The Northern Province still has the most stunted children, 23.3%, while the goal is that in the next 5 years, stunted children in this province will be less than 15%.
Burera district still has the majority of children suffering from Malnutrition at 29.4%, Gakenke 24.3%, Rulindo 24.1%, Musanze 21.3%, however Gicumbi is the minority with 19%.
